How Does the Program Work?

Students will jointly enroll at Catholic University and Pima Community College for the freshman and sophomore years, taking courses at both institutions. As juniors and seniors, students will enroll solely at Catholic University, earning a B.A. in Management upon completion.

With tuition averaging under $8,800 per year, students in the Tucson area have access to a high-quality, Catholic undergraduate education that is truly affordable. The program is eligible for Federal Financial Aid, including grants and loans.

Our Partnership with Pima Community College

In order to provide the highest quality, most affordable, locally embedded education possible, The Catholic University of America has embarked upon a novel partnership with Pima Community College. In the freshman and sophomore years, students will be jointly enrolled at Catholic University and Pima Community College, earning an associate’s degree from PCC. In the junior and senior years, students will be enrolled at CatholicU only, taking courses at Catholic University facilities located exclusively on Pima’s Downtown Campus.

Welcome to The Catholic University of America — Tucson

As the national university of the Catholic Church founded in 1887, and as the only higher education institution founded by the Catholic bishops of the United States, The Catholic University of America is unique in our history, our mission, and our educational goals.

While our decision to deliver a low-cost, high-quality degree in the southwest United States first developed in 2017, and the choice to land in Tucson, Arizona came a few months later in 2018, this program is an extension of the University’s historical mission to serve those populations that have been traditionally underserved and underrepresented in higher education.
